New York City, New York 10018
Culture on Broadway is aplenty, with the Theater District being one of New York City’s most popular and profitable attractions. When it comes to Broadway shows, one of our founding member companies, Show-Score, is the know it all. Show-Score is the Rotten Tomatoes of Broadway Shows; their platform features Broadway reviews, sells Broadway tickets, and offers a Broadway ticket lottery. Show-Score also has a community of theater-goers who write reviews and even see shows together. An insider tip from their community is to see off-Broadway shows too! This is where you can see some of the greatest talents before they get big (Think Hamilton big. That’s right; Hamilton started off-Broadway and tickets were less than $50!)

What to do before or after a show is important too. It’s all about creating the full experience! While options are aplenty in the Theather District, we highlighted the classic ones to check off your list. Carmines, Sardi’s and Bar Napolean are Theater District staples. Restaurants with a low-key quiet atmosphere include Orso, db Bistro Moderne, Casellula. Bar scene staples are Knickerbocker, Russian Vodka Room, and the Lambs Club. Fun fact, a new rooftop lounge, Elsie, just opened in our building, 1412 Broadway. With views of Times Square and a classicly Gatsby decor, Elsie feels like a throwback to the past.
When it comes to choosing what to do before or after Off-Broadway shows, we refer you back to Show-Score where they have a complete guide on what to do and see around the city. Happy theater-going!
